Fair Pay

If you pay a contractor $48.08 per hour, you would have “paid” an employee around $61.30 per hour.  This is because of employee cost overhead.  So, no, an hourly contract rate of $48.08 should not be converted into a salaried job paying around $100,000 per year.  Rather, it should be converted into a salaried job paying around $127,504 per year.
